not sure, we like camping, but sometimes tents can get real hot during the summer,so i probably will be checking out some of the hotels.

If you want to do camping I would recommend Elk Neck State park. They have some really nice shaded spots. If you are going to the ATNS and camping the placde I am staying at has some really nice shaded spots and the rates are reasonable. The commute to the truck is not bad as well.

It is about 27 miles from the fairgrounds Ciff. But at 17 bucks a night it is a steal.

There are a few pics from the campground I stayed at here Cliff. This was the first time at this park so I didnt know the site was bigger than thisd until I did some more checking into. There is a place in the tree line just for the tent.

And the majority of the sites are well shaded which keeps the tent or camper cooler depending on what you use.

sounds like a plan, this is my first time going,so i was considering staying close to the fairgrounds,wouldn't want to miss out on all the excitement, besides its tough getting my boys out of bed early in the morning, i would like to get there early so i can check everything out.

Cliff I usually got there about 7 am which is well before anything starts before the day from the campground I stayed at. Don I belive that they have some of the stuff posted already at www.carsatcarlisle.com.
