Ball Joints

I was looking into ball joints for my f-250 . Which brand are having the best luck with durability? I was looking into moog or napa top line?

Alot of guys like the Moog because they come with a zerk fitting for regreaseing.
I used federal mogal on mine and they have worked great so far. I have about 20000 on them at this point.

I'm about to do ball joints on mine as well. I bought Moog's from Amazon, they had a good price and free shipping. I've been reading alot about these lately and lots of folks have also had good luck with the Napa top line you mention.

The NAPA Premiums also come with grease fittings .... I wouldn't be surprised if even cheap auto parts store joints do.

I haven't heard of aftermarket joints failing ... just the Ford original ones.

You may have to modify the grease fitting to stop it from hitting. At least I had to with NAPA's on my "02 SD

Good luck.

the moogs come with a cap for the upper ball joint and a 90* zerk fitting... install the fitting to grease the balljoint, r/r it with the cap and you're golden... just replaced my OEM balljoints with moogs on all four points... so far so good, but I don't even have 500 miles on them yet...

That's how most (all) of them come, with a cap to replace the fitting. Instead, I put the 90 degree fittings on a grinder for a second, and now they fit without hitting anything.
