cb radio help, comparison
i am close to buying a cb radio for my truck but i am not sure which to get a uniden pc78 or a cobra 29ltd classic or blackchrome, which of these radios are the better one? any help will be cool

I've only used galaxy, but I would highly suggest checking what channel those around you use. 2 way radios don't do much good if no one is listening. For just trucker chatter, anything will do, for hunting and broader comm options you may want to see what mods are available for both.

Have no idea what a lackchrome is or who makes it but the PC78 or 29LTD will most likely do you just fine.

black chrome is a finish. I don't know what they add to nickle to get the dark tint, but it's a black tinted chrome finish. I think it looks pretty decent on some things, but it's hard to tell if it's black or just really shinny (similar to seeing the difference in chrome and polished SS.)

Naw, I just thought he meant Black Chrome was a different model radio. I have been out of the radio for a while and you never know what they may name as a model. But I am straighened out now.
