Help Kodiak Steps !!!!!!!!!!!!

alright so i have the kodiak steps on my truck and the passenger side ones seems to be having some issues. I mean they go up and down but when they go up tehy start making this kinda grinding/buzzing sound and sometimes they dont go up all teh way. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong? maybe the gears inside? anyone know how to fix them ? your help is much appreciated thanks

The activator switch is a simple part from General Motors, you can get the part number from Kodiak. My guess is the switch is bad, they only run about $4.00 each, you can do it yourself.

i am going to look into that tomorrow maybe take them apart and go from there. Anyone have any other ideas? thanks for the help guys

Make sure the innerworkings are clean and well lubricated, also check for any damage on all moving parts. If it's not the simple hardware, then look into power issues as stated by TexMexF250.
