87 ranger 2.9
Need some help. Have a 87 Ranger 2.9 6 banger. Need a throttle cable. Can't find one any where. Anyone have suggestions where to look? I live on Kodiak island here in Alaska. We have one wrecking yard but could not find one there.

do you still have the old one? Look for a Ford part number on it, order from Ford, probably won't be available. Measure it and order a similar length one from Dorman.
If you don't have it, take a piece of tie wire and lay it out on the path that the old cable took from the carb? to the pedal, measure wire and order a similar length one from Dorman.
