435 to T18
I have a 73 f 250 4wd with a divorced transfer case and a NP 435 trans which is on it's last legs. I also have a Warner T18 4 spd out of a 78 F150 2wd. Now my question, will the two interchange? The tail piece on the T18 would have to have a 4wd tail piece so the transfer case shift lever could bolt to it. Did Ford use the T18 with the divorced transfer case and if so does any one know where I could lay my hands on a 4wd tail piece for this trans I hope someone can line me out on this one.
