I am betting it is the long pipe, rather than the short, which is for the 4X4. Will it work on a 4X4???????????
Is anyone willing to bet the price of $500.00 that it will work on a 4X4 before I order it and then have to send it back if it doesn't?

Still asking for some options to fix my problem.
Thanks
F7TZ5246BA is for one with resonator.

I WITH BILL, I'M DONE.

I know where you are coming from. How can I believe anybody when everybody is contridicting everything. Two dealers tell me it is not avalible......and two people on this forum are contridicting them saying it is.....WHO do I believe.
I have a problem and can't get the same answer. I am not saying who is right of wrong.....before I spend 500.00 or 1000.00 dollars I need to know for sure which Y pipe I need...... I guess I need more proof than just numbers. Anybody have pictures I can compare with to my Y pipe.
This is crazy....why can't I just buy a simple Y pipe. And crap too Ford for not allowing an aftermarket brand!

PS Talked to a Wyoming DOT mechanic and he remembers reading a state memo about this and he said that Offenhouser made a Y pipe to replace the problem.....any info on that rumor?

OK maybe I may have a resonator, I don't know......tell me what I am suppose to look for if I have a resonator.......I thought it was a small looking muffler or cat looking thing in the exhaust system. If so no, I do not......the pipes Y then the cat, then a couple feet, then the muffler, then out the tail pipe.
Give Me some help guy's....just don't be a%$ and leave it at that. Thought this forum was for help, not making people feel bad.
Keep Helping
I need a part.

How about drop dead? You keep parceling out the info on your truck and arguing with the two guys that actually know this stuff. If no one responds to from here on out it is only what you deserve.

You know maybe Number Dummy and FTE/Parts-Guy are right, but when I have called 3 Dealership Parts Departments with the numbers they gave and each of the 3 said that Y pipe would not work on my truck, then wouldn't you be a bit worried that maybe it wouldn't work before you fork over $500.00 or $1000.00 bucks for something that you may not be able to return.
And you know I was the one that got called jerk to start with and also insulted by even asking a Ford Parts department in the first place, like this is the only place for info.
Thanks but no thanks
And crap to all of you
