carter yf questions
i just picked up a decent 72 f-100 with a 240 and single bbl carter carb. came with a very juryrigged choke cable bracket. I'm thinking someone has already come up with a simple/clean looking bracket to firmly hold the carb end of the choke cable. truck runs great. it also has what looks like a homemade heat shield under the carb. is it too much to hope for that someone makes a heat shield/choke bracket combo? Also, i have many hoses blocked off and blocked off tubes near/in the manifold, air cleaner, canister. anyone have a plumbing diagram for what all goes where? any ideas or even photos of any solutions would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
