I think I've read just about everything that is suspension related and I want to make sure I have it.
Other than the things which pertain to every tow vehicle there is including: WD hitch setup, load distribution, tire psi, front end alignment and inspection. . .
These are the things which are excursion exclusive:
1. add rear sway bar
2. adjust steering box
3. Decide whether to leave stock springs or. . .
4. Switch springs to V and B code
Now if I choose to leave the stock springs I should
1. Install RAS, or
2. Install radius rods
If I choose to switch springs I should
1. Put longer shocks in the front.
2. Install 3.5" tapered blocks in the rear.
I'm still reading up on it... but I am gonna install my RAS this weekend and then get the steering box. I will then play with my tire pressure and if need be replace my shocks. Springs... I will leave that to the end.

Hate to be negative but I read the whole speil on the RAS and it looks like just another hyped up gimmick by someone to make some money. I doubt if you would notice any difference with it other than your wallet will be thinner.

Spiel from the manufacturers website, or from the many threads and posts here at FTE?
Mine doesn't wander. It has no play in the wheel and tracks perfectly and I've owned about 40 cars. It did wander when it needed front end parts. I think the ones that wander need parts. Stock parts.
The Excursion is built on the same platform as the F250/350, but Ford decided to put different leaf springs on the Ex. Upgrading to the F250 springs (referred to as the V code, B code mod) is a common modification Excursion owners do to fix the inherent wander problem that plagues most Excursions.
Thanks. I know. It just don't understand why they did it unless they figured a SUV should ride better than a pick up or maybe because they had to get the height down in the ex ?

I'm sure Joe and every other user of the RAS on here begs to differ.

Yup, they wanted it to ride smoother than the Super Duty.
