i dont know how i'm gonna do the equalizer. all i know is the maximum amount of vapor. does anyone know the stock idle speed for these old trucks? then i can just make a valve that lets only so much vapor at different engine speeds.
I'm not sure about that...14:1 ignition, 14:1 is the ideal ratio, motors can run leaner or richer than that....according to that info on the Ogle report, it will run really lean. That's what made me to question, "I wonder what the air/fuel ratio is....I bet it's not 14:1".

that's what i figured, but for starters, i'll start out at that
this is interesting and it sounds plausible, yet i am VERY sceptical of it actually working as claimed...
now, if i were to attempt such a feat im not sure id use my truck, id get something that is cheaper to replace, like a lawn tractor. if it works on a cheap lawn tractor it'll work on your truck...

that's a pretty good idea... i do happen to have an old racing lawntractor w/a 1.25" straight pipe coming out under the fender (its a little badass) that i could use.

exactly, why risk messing up your truck. if the system causes the engine to fail, you can toss it out and get another, but that would be much harder with a 30 year old truck.
the mythbuster idea is a good one. id also like to see them test one of those H-H-O water to gas thingies. in fact i wonder what would happen if you combined this system with an H-H-O system? 200+MPG????

they did the hho one, but they did it wrong b/c they didnt put in any electrolytes, so the molecules didnt seperate fast enough to power a car.

hmmm, i must have missed that one! the HHO theory is not to run staight on HHO, but to suppliment your gas consumption with hydrogen, therby increasing your gas milage without increasing your fuel efficiency.
