wiring gauges

what's the best way to wire up the power side of my gauges. i have 5 to install. was looking at something like the cirkit boss from painless part #70113 ( Painless Performance: CirKit Boss®™ Auxiliary Fuse Block/3 Circuits ).

there are switched fuses in your CJB...gauges don't take much power at all..i used one of these and just tapped one of the switched fuses..a 10A fuse feeds my (4) DiPricol Optix gauges just fine..

sorry CJB? yeah i didn't figure they took much power. i hate electrical so i am try to this figured out before i go diving. any pictures of your wiring?

They don't take much power, I tapped into the accessory circuit for mine. You certainly don't need a relay and separate fuses for them.

Go to Lowe's or Home Depot and pick up some of these connectors... they work great. You just cut your source wire in two and plug both ends into this connector then attach your leads from the gauges.
