having electrical problems
I have a 05, f150, 4x4, 5.4L and i just started having an elctrical problem. the sterio stays on after the key is removed and driver door is opened. the power locks don't work and the automatic headlights don't work either i check all the fuses regarding these and swaped relays i thought myhave something to do with it but i cannot seem to figure it out. can you shed some light?

dont know if it will help your issue or not but last year mine jusst died at the gas pumps. after 2 days at the dealer they found 4 different wiring harnesses that had shorted out. the plastic wire protectors had chaffed of metal brackets off the motor compartment and worn through to the wires. would not be a bad idea to check them anyway.

Did you read the post, "Dead Drivers Door" by whits? It's on page 2 (this morning). I'm suspecting you may have a simular problem. The radio doesn't know the door has opened, the power door locks don't work and maybe the automatic head lights need the door closed and isn't getting that signal.
