MY IC THREAD-spyder pipe found
hey guys what a used spyder pipe is good shape, with all electrical connections, and the boots worth? i can get one for $75. is that pretty good?

If an early 99 spyder pipe good price!!!!!! ford OEM part #f81z6k889ba.....but that # isnot cast on the spyder... if I can find the cast #'s I will post for ya!! but neal called tonight and i could not find the cast # in my notes.....will look tomorrow.

That is a good price as we talked.
After I talked to you, 2 stroke, I called my brother (J's97F-350) and he looked for it but couldn't find it till later. That was too late for me to call you back.
So it sounds like a c01,2,3 or even a c04 will work.
Hopefully this will help you with your decision.
Basically if the connections that go to your intake plenums is the smaller one you will be fine.

The hardest part of the job will be the pipes. If you can get your hands on some SD pipes that are steel (some are aluminum). The steel are easier to work with since they are easier to weld. The passenger side pipe should work fine, may have to make it a bit longer on one side. The driver side will take some cutting and welding. I think you can put the drivers side pipe upside down and add some bends to it. It is best to have two pipes to piece together to do the drivers side.

I just did my pipes on sat. I used the allum. pipes off an early 99. all i had to do was add 3 1/4 " to the bottom of the pass side and add about 2 1/2" to the top of the drivers side. you also need the 2 manifold to syder pipes (2" to 2 3/8is) ford #F81z-6c640-FA.or goto turbohoses.com 24.99 each. If you are useing a 6.0 cooler you will need 1 boot 3"on one end and 3 1/4 on the other. the other boot is 3" on both ends. if you need the 3 to 3 1/4 boot...I have a ford one that you can have or if you need the ford p# let me know. and yep bro you are right. tha pipes are the hardest part 2 stoke if I can help ya let me or neal know what ya need...we willbe glad to help

good prices!!! I have 210.00 in the y-pipe and cooler pipes and 206.81 in the 6.0 intercooler. and a bout a nother hundred in boots and clamps. so you done good!! better than me any way. If we can help.. let us know
