Check engine light trouble
I recently purchased a 1996 F150 4x4 the truck is in good condition but the other day the check engine light decided to come on so i went to my local parts store and had a scan tool hooked to it and it said the i had a problem with an alternate emission control, well the problem is noone can figure out what that means, so if anyone would help i would greatly appreciate it

It has a completely stock 300-6 and as far as the actual code i dont remember what it was just that it said alternate emission control, im going to have a scan tool hooked to it again tommorow, so ill post the actual code then and thanks for the reply
