I have couple of newby questions. I just bought a 05 f250 last weekend.
I have a pumping sound after I shut the engine down that lasts for about 10 seconds. I have had the truck a week and I am not sure if this is normal or not. I kind of sounds like a small pump. I thought it might be pumping oil to the turbo to assist with spooling it down, but I am not sure. Is this a normal sound. It is pretty hard to figure out where it is coming from.
I have also noticed that if I turn the engine off with the AC on Max the next time I turn it on the air will not blow. I am pretty sure this is not normal, but have no idea where to look. Is there a vacuum actuator or something that is acting up?
That makes sense. I just went out and tried to listen and is sounds like the injectors pulsing. Does this dump fuel into the cylinders when doing this?

Not that I'm aware. I believe it's purging the injectors of oil to keep them from gumming up and provide for improved cold starts.
