okay here it goes. this past weekend i took my truck out muddin and put her through a beating. she drove fine all day long and no problems on the way home. my truck sat from saturday till tuesday afternoon befor i started it. she started up just fine but when i put it in gear nothing happened . i checked all the shift linkage and everything was moving as it should be from the shift lever on the steering column to the tranny. no binding or anything. i checked the fluid and it seemed fine (in the limits). i had to get to work so i didnt have time to check into it any further. i dont know how to fix or even want to tear into an automatic tranny and deffinetly dont have the money to replace it so any help is appreciated.....

went out to take a look at her today and here is what happened. i started the truck and let it get up to running temperature. i checked the fluid and it was a little low. befor i added more fluid i jumped in the cab to see if it would shift . and to my suprise it did. io hope it can stilll shift after it cools down and i start it again because it wouldnt do nothing last night when it was cold. i added about a quart of tranny fluid to it, checked it again and it is now right where it is sopposed to be between the arrows. i drove it around and everything seemd fine. for now anyways. is there something that could be bad on the tranny to cause it not to shift when not up to opperating temp????? it also stalls when i put a load on it. it was doing that on saturday when i had it out on the trail, stalling when i got on it hard in a deep mud hole.????? any thoughts on this??? could it be my torque converter??????
