Axle Code 17???

Axle Code 17???
Well I finally got around to checking the door plate on my truck and it does match the VIN # although I can find no sign of a dash VIN plate to be 100% sure of the VIN. It is however what the truck is titled under in NC.
My roblem is when I went to look up what Axle/Rearend Gear combo it cam with I came to a rather annoying brick wall.
I went to http://www.clubfte.com/users/mil1ion/FordTruckCodes.html (mil1ion's site) to look up the code but it doesn't have a 17 listed which is what my door plate states.
I am at yet another loss with this truck. She seems to be determined to make everything difficult for me in finding out anything about her.
I would really like to know what rearend she has without having to completely drop the rear to clean everything up and open it up to count gear revolutions and all.
The truck was all original when I got he other than the bed.
