if I'm wanting to replace all fuel line on my 86 efi with 2 tanks and the lovely tank selector, do I need to buy replacement ford fuel connectors or can I use hose clamps and would 5/16 fuel line fit?
Before the frame pump, you can get buy with clamps. Those are low pressure pumps in the tanks. From the frame pump up, I would use the correct stuff. 60 psi or more is possible.
You don't happen to know where those oem connectors can be had for less that $15 a pop do you?
I guess they come with a length of fuel line and a brass ribbed coupler. I can't seem to find just those connectors new if nothing else to refresh my old soft parts. Seems they shouldn't cost more than $5 a piece even with ford tax.
