Hey guys it been a while! Getting back into my truck and looking up all the new products coming out for them. I finally have enough $$$$ to buy goodies!!!!
Diesel sites new hpop adrenaline looks and sounds awesome and for only $500. Cant even find a 17* pump for that (if I could get one cheap id go that way)
That d66 to get more air in her........ $1200.
Which one first!?!?!?!?!? only doing one or the other right now.
Ya I set the 1211 code anytime I get on it for a while on higher tune. What I really notice is the power seems to fall on its face and not pull any harder after maybe 2500 rpms then cel turns on. That adrenaline hpop sounds like a big increase of both power and mpg is expected.
As for the turbo its original still after 290k miles and about 50k of those have been with stage 1 injectors and about 120k with chip. Still no side to side play but man she smokes and I know more air would clean that up and lower my high egts while towing. Oh and I have changed out the original wheel (was dusted) and put in the 00+ wheel with 9 full fins.
new newer truck guys change their wheels to ours as an upgrade...
only to help get rid of turbo surge. The SD compressor actually flows more.
Foremen the HPOP sounds like it will help you out nicely. I guess the only thing that could mess you up is if your turbo goes south before your ready to buy a new turbo.
Foremen, I played with the same two mods in my head but ended up with the adrenaline. It increased my boost a little and it pulls hard. Nothing I do to my mule increases MPG. I'm still going to do the D66 one of these months!
