I've Looked everywhere and cant find a 66 f-100 2WD radiator support. some parts are coming out of paint soon and i need one to go back together. i've looked pretty close to a month and a half or so now. I'm back in the market for one and i dont know what to do. any help would be appreciated. if anyone needs to get rid of one nows the time.

Check with FTE members: gangstakr or camperspecial65. Either or both might have it.
ive checked with both and 65cs has one but he says it has holes too. and gangstar has 4WD one. i just hate modifying things. my granpa and i were under the hood all the time when i was younger and i just want to keep things the way they are.
if i had to how much modifying would i need to do to a 66 f100 4x4 core support?
i know the mods for the 61-64 2WD core support involves changing the aprons and moving the battery only to have two big balloons where the aprons are. frustrating lol.
Just buy some 16GA at the local steel house and weld it together. Clamp it firmly, with a piece of heavy steel behind it. Weld slow and cold and you should minamize warpage. Flip it over and repeat on the other side. Sand to near flush with 36 zicromium flap wheels, finish sanding the weld bead with a 80 or 120 grit zicromium flap wheel or sanding disc. Smooth with bondo and re sand by hand. Prime and paint.
The currved pieces can be made by pounding with a ball peen hammer. Sand lightly with a fine grit sanding disc once welded.
The nice thing is that the support is inside the engine bay and hidden. So your work only needs to be 80% good.

Huh?
The Basic core support is the same stamping. All the 65 66 adds is the bracket to hang the aprons and a hole for the front mounted battery box.
All you need to add is 1x1 x16 gauge shop angle to carry the front of the 65 66 stock aprons. No balloons involved. You use your STOCK inner aprons. and your STOCK battery box.
Wyatt66F100,
Have you been to Tony's Ford Truck Parts over by the Airport? He might have one. He has a bunch of old fords out there and I also know where there might be one out by Vernonia. PM me if you need some more info. Is the 66 Core Support particular for that year or is there other years that you can use in place of a 66?

Wyatt66F100,
There is a couple of old Ford Pickups out in a little Junkyard if your heading out towards Vernonia thats on the Right Side of the road. They might be 66's for all I know. I cant remember the name of the Junkyard but I will ask my friend when he gets back from his Vacation about the name. Both of the trucks seemed very complete. Hope you find one in decent shape.

Wyatt66f100 - I used the re-pop rad support from Dennis Carpenter on my 65 2wd. Fit right in, quality was good and I didn't have to burn time welding and fabbing.
Your radiator brackets have to be flipped and you either need to cut your inner apron brackets off your support to weld onto the new support, or just bend some thick sheet metal and use that on the new support for your aprons.
I'm in the process of dry fitting the front clip right now, and have had no problems with the aftermarket support.
I bought a re-pop (China) for 255.00 plus 100.00 for shipping! Then I took it to my buddy Mike. Mike will cut the bottom and headlight dimples off the re-pop and weld them on my rusty 66 F100 2wd core support. All total I'll have about 450.00 in my solid rust free core support. Expensive I know but I really hate rust. The China re-pop off e-bay was a really good piece and would work excellent on 61-65 trucks.
