np 435 question
Does anyone know the difference between a np435 (67-71) from a 4wd
compared to one from a 2wd?. I believe the splines on the output shaft are different as well as the length, but thats all I know. What I need to know is, can I take gears and counter shaft from a 2wd np 435 and use them in a 4wd np 435?. I found a np 435 from a 68 2wd and want to store it to use the parts for my 69 f250 4wd. thanks in advance.
