i drove to school today truck did fine and then when i got out to go to work about a hour later i started the truck up and it would barely run. it was revving up and down and shaking and after a couple seconds it cut off. i also noticed my edge monitor did not cut on. i went under the hood and checked all the connections where the edge hooks up and the all seemed ok. started the truck back up and it ran fine but the ses light was on, and the edge monitor still did not cut on. so then i was driving and all the sudden the truck cut off and then cut back on realy quick and every thing went away and the motor cut on and the ses light cut off. what do yal think a loose connection? any ideas?
thanks or the help!
Sounds like a loose connection on the UVCH.This plugs into the valve cover gasket and is known to come un-plugged.Someone else will chime in for more detail.
Get someone to read your fault codes.. it is a guessing game otherwise. But it does sound like a loose under the valve cover plastic piece a junk connector has come loose.. the plastic locking tabs warp and allow the connector to separate.. see my gallery pic's..
Another option, unplug the Edge and go back to stock. Just to see what it does. If works fine then, reconnect Edge and try again. I'm willing to bet your problem is that Edge.
1210, 1211, and 0603 are all probably related to the Edge. 0236 is Turbo Boost Sensor A performance and 1119 is Manifold Air Temp High. I would guess your issue is with the Edge module. Disconnect it and see what happens. Then double check your connections and try again.
