BIG RED needed brake work so today it happened. I knew it had a warped rotor in the front so I said I was doing it all. Started about 9:AM I let the temp outside warm up a little. Loosen lug nuts put on jack stands take all the tires off all 6 needed pads on the rear, rotors OK.
Front after finally getting the rotors off and checking the thickness they were both a tad under 36.0 mm and at least 1 was warped so I needed new rotors and was goning to get new pads for the front to. While I was at it I had trouble 1 time this winter with my 4x4 locking in auto I had to get out and do it manual but I had to use some pliers to do it that sucked I was in some nasty mud and cow crap but OH well. I got home that day and spayed some WD-40 and loosened it up and they worked for a while. So today with it all down and I had the rebuild kit that Guzzle suggest I rebuilt them both. So after all of this and going to town 18 miles away to NAPA getting new rotors and pads coming home putting it all back and checking it all again. I took it for a test drive at 6:PM and all works great good brakes 4 wheel drive kicks in good and I am done for the day I think I will have a brew after all of this man a dually can be rough some time. But BIG RED is not only fast It can stop good now. I am DONE
Sounds like a productive day Eddie. Hope you spent the money on really good brake pads, your trucks gonna be alot faster when you get the 38R, lol. Good job bud..
Good job Eddie. I know what you mean about our dually's. Got to mess with the spacers, but I had a good day doing mine also. I'm sure you also did the slide pins too.

Great Job Eddie brakes on the duallies are a little tougher then SRW trucks but it can be done with a little effort. I am glad I went with my warns it gets annoying to click them in sometimes but alteast I know they work.

JD I like the Warns. But as long as I can keep my ESOF working correct I will keep them.
Rick I love my Dually and ESOF's also. The rebuild on the ESOF is easy.

Agree. It's about time for me to do the R&R on my ESOF again this year. Keep them maintained, then they will work like a champ.
