Hey, just recently joined and thought I ought to introduce myself.
I live near Salem and do not currently own a Ford (or any car for that matter) but the vehicle I do drive is an E350 6.8L V10, lots of power, lots of fun!
Currently in the market for an '86-'89 Ranger 4X4 with the 2.9 V6 or an F150 of about any year with a straight six.
Howdy back, Ford Major!.........And welcome to the chapter!
If you find a Ranger of that vintage you like, run it by me, I know more about those d**n things than I care to admit!......I can tell you what to look for.
Ok will do, thanks much!
Im wanting to pull the body, engine, tranny etc out of the Ranger and drop it onto a Bronco 2 frame with the drivetrain intact, the bed will need to be cut (big deal) but other than that it should be pretty straightforward. Im planning on buying the Bronco frame and whatnot from Chucky Babe, but still gotta turn up a Ranger. Gonna give it a military look with a desert paint scheme so that Chucky Babe's rig and my rig match when were wheelin.

Welcome to the chapter! Today just might be your lucky day! I just decided to sell my wife's 87 extended cab Ranger this morning before I read your post. It's a 87 Ranger XLT Extended Cab 4X4, V-6, 5 speed. Runs great, just to small for us. I just bought a 96 F-150 4X4 Short Bed, and have no need for the Ranger. Asking $2,500. If your interested PM me and I'll send ya some pictures.
Wouldnt mind the brush guard on your truck or that 300.00 special, they are getting hard to find for older Rangers...............Your Ranger looks to be in EXCELLENT shape, mines a little rough around the edges cosmetically but has a excellent motor and running gear.
It's the wifes Ranger...........But it is in great shape, has one small dent next to the drivers side fender lite. Runs great, good little pickup, just toooo small for our needs. I bought a 96 F150 4X4 to replace it.
[quote=fabmandelux;7430773]Just found another sweet deal. Check this out: 66 Ford Galaxy!!
I think that was sitting out where I could see it for a couple of weeks, if it is the same car, it did look good.
Did you get the 66 Fairlane over here?
