Is it a Mass Air Flow Truck or a Speed Density setup? Cali emissions had the MAF's starting in 1995. The only real Barometric sensor would be a MAP sensor which the speed density systems used - I think those were mounted on the firewall. If you don't know what to look for go to a site like Autozone.com and look up the part - they will have an illustration for you.
its a maf truck but when i hook up a scan tool i get a reading for baro and it is way out of spec its the only sensor out of spec the maf is a new sensor

What code are you getting and what is the year and engine size of your truck?
its a 95 with a 5.0 i get random codes none for baro
As stated earlier in this thread the is no Baro or MAP sensor on MAF trucks, that figure is calculated by the computer using the MAF meter. The code you are getting means something different for these trucks so you'll have to post up the actual code you got.
