ahh good point!so other than the ats upgrade what would be the best to do?

i think u should run strait off the headers to tiwn 5 inch stacks like my truck

when did you do that?and like george said i need the crossover to build boost.you could because you have no turbo.

do the ATS upgrade and run 4" after that, at least thats what I would do just get the downpipe back 4" system for a powerstroke with your bobystyle and if you dont have the equipment any exhaust shop should be able to adapt it fairly cheep and put a pice of pipe where the mufler should go then sell the mufler on Ebay. Atleast thats what I would do.

good, found a different shop, told him i wanted 3" back from y, gave me a price and said it'll take about 20 minutes, just bring it on down.

Are you going with a new muffler or straight pipe.

new muffler, i've had loud, it was called a 350, true duals, dumped at axles, no restriction at all, on a short frame. trooper here told me if he heard it again it was gonna be expensive. although i am sure it didnt help matters that he was behind me at the red light and i floored it, talk about blow your ear drums.... no straights here, i like my quiet, i wanna hear the radio on low, or hear myself think... wait, thats dangerous... never mind that last one.

got it done this afternoon... SOOOOOO much better, floats through smoother, doesnt slow down like its brakeing when you let off the accelerator, and i really really like how he tied the pipe in to the Y
