Well, you can help out by first Joining the CT Chapter, and then Joining in on the monthly B/S thread, and then coming to the GTG's.

ok awesome man so what are my advantages of joining a specific chapter may be a stupid question but i am the new guy lol!! oh and i just requested to join!!

 

If you're from CT you join the CT Chapter. If you're from MA you join the MA Chapter.

GTGs are Get Togethers.

For example last Sunday a bunch of us went to the truck museum in Middlebury I believe it was. Then everyone else went back to another chapter member's house for some food. I had to duck out to do some drivers ed crap.

Our May GTG is still in the planning stages currently.

What would you do if I started calling you George instead of Brian? We don't have a George yet.

As for advantages, they are all intangible

Camaraderie being the most substantial of the intangibles

Certainly its more advantageous being a member than a Chapter Leader.

The compensation is much more favorable

And so goes the B/S

If you live near the boarder you certainly would be considered by the adjacent state for membership, it would help your application if you made a good faith effort to post with them for awhile before asking to join, and after being accepted to occasionally GTG with them.

As for being called George, well one of our Moderators is George, and I believe an occasional visitor from Canterbury 'Can Do' is also a George
