If the bully dog is anything like the Superchips I had, the max tune is not close to my DP 80hp tune. With the Superchip, I could stand on it for quite some time before the EGT's would get to the danger level. That being said, gauges is always a good idea with any power addons.

I guess I gave a bit of mis-info: what the guy that posted that pic said was "all stock truck, Bully Dog's hottest tune" and that "it would appear that this cylinder had an injection failure, but I haven't heard from the fuel shop yet on the flow bench test." So there may have been more factors than just a Bully Dog programmer and no way to keep an eye on things.

My dad runs his 02 dually on the 100hp evo tune all the time and he has stock exhaust and stock intake. He pulls a 20k trailer to missouri every other week and back to get targets for our gun club and his truck smells like burnt wires every time we get back but it still keep kicking.
