problem whit my C6 transmision

hi have a problem whit my C6 ( ´69 lincoln 460 engine)
all funktions work property also the shift points
the problem are the downshift points by down press the accerlator pedal
excemple: i drive 30Miles in 3 gear...if i press the accerlator pedal to speed up a little bit,the transmission will downshift to the 2gear
also when i drive a little acclivity,they will downshift
first i look at the modulator valve ...but they work property
the downshift likage its also adjust
the first time i have the problem is after i bolt on the original autolite 4300 carb.
befor i use a edelbrock 750
anyone has n idea ?
