Front axle shafts
Hi Guys
Wondering when im in 2wd,do the front axle shafts remain stationary?I went under my truck with the engine running&in 2wd,tried to rotate the shafts by hand&find them locked.Went to 4wd&locked as well.Im getting a little concerned if they are turning while driving while im in 2wd.I have had an issue with the integrated wheel ends sometimes banging in place when wet.I have done research on these bearings&wondering if there is damage?Should those shafts not move when in 2wd?
Ford has put out a TSB(Technical Service Bulletin)number 06-8-15 in the IWE&going to check this out further.Input would be appreciated,thanks...Pete
