Awhile back it was noted that some wallmarts quit selling guns and ammo.
Well I finally stopped in wallmart here today(not a wallmart fan) and not only are they stocked up really well on guns they are even stocking pistols here and have a well imformed person in the sporting goods department.

No black powder stuff though go figgure.

Yea I have two sisters in beaumont talk to one regularly the other every couple of years.
Yea when I was in first grade we lived at dam B (they have changed the name) and started school in woodville. Dad was working on Sam rayburn dam.

In 80 worked in kountze for awhile then in beaumont, orange and lake charles, this was before I knew the air was dry out west and couldn't stand the humidity.

It wasn't too bad when I was young and dumb just had to drink LOTS of beer you know to keep from dehydrating. lol

I don't think you would like bringing the humidity to cali. That would be a whole other reason I would not like it.
If cali had east texas style humidity they would have to ban guns and people would still beat each other to death.

Along with the beer drinking also did a lot of skinny dipping to keep cool. It wasn't that bad come to think of it just don't think I could drink that much beer all over again, better just stay here.

star gor smart and left the humidity... me, well, i guess i got smart(ish). i moved to Bridge City, right at the tip of Lake Sabine, Ike flooded out home, so we moved to colmesneil, 100 or so miles from the water, its better, but still bad

We couldn't wait to get out of Cali cause of the heat, so we moved to Maine... Now I wanna head back to the dry heat... The snow is fun, but the cold gets old quick! My bones hurt to much!

Don't get me wrong, Maine is beautiful, especially in the fall. The humid summers stink, the Maine state bird is ruthless. (Mosquitos)

Hate humidity!

-Enjoy
