booster hiss

i was wondering if anyone knows how easily the seal on the brake booster is to fab up or if it is totally shot. it hisses as long as im not on the brakes,i dont get it.

Your vacuum booster for your brakes is probably on its way out. Sometimes the brake master cylinder will leak fluid and will cause it to fail. Check your brake fluid. Most of the time its just old age.

Check the vacuum hose and the hose fitting on the face of the booster, but in all likelihood the booster has an internal vacuum leak and must be replaced.
