Fuel filter help 1956?
Hey gang,
I got the 56 f100 project truck running yesterday, after going back to the parts store twice... turns out the distributer in my 56 is actually a 57! The engine fired up with a bottle of gas into the carb. The filter is clogged/gelled as the truck hasnt run in years. I went to the parts store and looked online to find out what filter may be correct for my pump. My 57? engine has a glass bowl and a paper filter.There was a tag on the fuel filter "CaPaC 4487". Anyone have any idea?
The engine also had a tag saying it has been rebuilt."AUTHORIZED FORD RECONDITIONED ENGINE" Produced by "COTE MOTOR CO, INC" Motor # B16783. BORE 040 MAINS 020 RODS 010 CAMSHA STD
