9.75 diff questions

Do you apply RTV to the diff itself or the diff cover?
What is the torque specs on the diff cover bolts?
How much and what type of fluid will it hold?<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

It is usually easier to apply it to the diff cover then the diff but that is just my opinion it don't matter.

There prolly is a spec for torque but just tighten them using common sense that's what I always do.

As far as the fluid. It says in the owners manual. The rear takes 90W140 synthetic I believe(haven't done it in awhile). But the manual says.
