Black1, thanks for sharing. Rep sent. Makes one think about how fortunate one really is. I admire that you can maintain such a positive attitude. Wiingnut- thats one of my favorite comebacks when someone asks how I'm doing, I say Any day above the ground is a good one!

Hey Brickie I feel for ya, Tha sounds like a typical day in the shop for me. I am used to it now, I just crack a beer and take a break, now I can hop in the GN and take a drive and exercise the turbo...

How come your pullin the engine, is it the SD or the X

Had a near miss myself..I was changing the oil in my old Dakota I had in highschool. Truck was up on jacks and had just drained the old oil and added the new oil. My pops reached in to start the truck up and circulate oil so we could check for leaks around the filter. Well he didnt take it out of gear and BOOM shot of the jacks and smashed into his shop wall right were i was standing earlier adding the new oil. New cases of oil were against the wall (exploded everywhere) old oil flung everywhere out of the oil pan. Broken sheetrock on both sides of the wall and pushed his beer fridge about 4 ft off the back side of the wall. Didnt hurt the truck but man were we cleaning up oil for a long time! Thanks god i wasn't still standing there though! The old man was embarrased as hell thats for sure

It is a local concrete finisher that loves the sound of my 350 and had dropped by when I was doing mine.His was giving him some issues and the dealer has pizzed him off ,so he asked if I could fix his the way I fixed mine Oh yes I can I said.
