i got a 7.3 powerstorke with dual batteries and single alternator and been having trouble finding battery cables for the positive to junction from the starter to the first battery and then from the first to other battery any suggestions would be helpful
could you go to your local auto elec and get him to make a couple up for you even get some nice chunky ones, or buy the wire and ends and make them yourself. either way would have to be cheaper than getting original ones i'd say
cheers
perfect find there scott,
as long as you have an oxy set and some soft solder job done,
i made some chunky cables for my brothers huge stereo system in his car a while back, and worked a treat and for half the price the car stereo shops wanted
I usually go to the local welding supply shop and get the wire from there. Some of the them have the crimpers there.
You can get repair ends from NAPA. Fortunatly for me I have a set of wire crimpers that will go to 4/0 AWG.
