Well today I was buying some odd and end parts for my 1949. I went to Princess Auto with the intention of buying a $2.99 button switch. Somehow though I ended spending slightly under $400.00 in less then 1/2 hour.....
You done good..........I hardly ever get away that easy!
Here I was expecting an announcement about a fleet of auction sale bargains.
You didn`t go to Nelson`s auction sale today?
i sort of did the same thing today... one of the lumber yards was having a tool special with reps and stuff there... i walked away with a $400 framing subfloor screw gun...
Princess Auto is a hard store to walk out with just what you went in for.
I went in before christmass with the intention of buying two 20 ton bottle jacks.I came out with 400 bucks worth of stuff! It would be a great tv show to see what you could build with a couple grand at princess auto.LOL
Princess Auto`s tools aren`t high on my list either but once in awhile I`ll buy afew like the set of big box end wrenches and 3/4 inch drive socket set. They`re cheap enough that if I only use then once in awhile it`s ok and handy to have instead of wasting time running to borrow.
P/A's tundra air hoses are awesome as well. they stay flexible in any weather and seem to hold up pretty good. i've got a couple and will be getting more when we go to regina in a couple weeks.
