A pillar pod mount

Hi to all my American bro's

I realise u guys drive on the wrong side of the road, but Im struglin to find wat i want in AUS.
Im after a A pillar instrument pod for a right hand drive. Is there sum1 in that States that can supply.
I can get this 1
ModYourCar Universal Double 2-1/16 Pillar Pod (RHD) - ModYourCar.com - Car Accessories | Car Parts | Performance Parts | Aftermarket Parts
but would prefer 1 that is suited to a F truck.

Man I wish we had the resources here that u guys can get ya hands on

Peace Out.

That's a good one...try emailing all of the sponsors on here, most carry gauges and they will be off for the weekend and will probably respond Monday.

Never seen one, but they do make pod mounts for windshield and under dash that would fit your truck. Good luck

No wonder you guys have so many accidents over there . You have the steering wheel on the wrong side of the truck ...If you cant find anything that will work you can put the gauges in individual pods & mount them to the pillar...Lew

Ouch. Texting with the left hand while the phone is plugged in charging that would suck.. My left hand fingers wouldn't have that.

X2.. I would try Clay First..

No point in trying for the American ones the only one you will be able to use is the steering coloum mount all the rest angle the wrong way, ring Supa F spares google them on the computer.

Thx RatKat

Clay from Riffraff Is going to ask hes supplier. Have sent both north side 4x4 and Supa F spares an email.
lets see what we come up with.
While I have ya, what diameter is the dump pipe from the back of the Turbo ??
I have a local exhaust guy here offering a 4" system. But the dump pipe he installs is 3.5" then 4 to the rear.
I thought the standard dump pipe was 3.5"

I fitted 3.5" down pipe to 4" stock is more like 3". Have always wondered if I would have been better off just fitting the down pipe and keeping it 3.5" all the way, also replace the stock muffler with a straight through one. Mush admit though the 4" does look good with a 6" tip. And we get a bonus here as we drive on the side of the exahust. Out of curiosity what are they charging for a system fitted.

Can't you just get the regular pillar mount and turn it upside-down??

Sorry -- couldn't resist. About the down pipe -- the big issue with the stock exhaust is that it's non-mandrel bent, on top of being 3 1/2". So there are a lot of places where it's not even 3 1/2" at the bends, so going 4" from turbo back is a BIG difference. I love my 4" system -- looks good, sounds good, and NO fitting issues like you might get with a 5". I did consider the 5", but decided I wanted stainless, and I didn't see any source of a stainless 5" system when I was looking.

$373.35 for stainless exhaust think it was $380 for freight divided by .69 Aussie dollar rate - 3 cents = $1091 Aust +10% GST = about $1200 + fitting cost me $680 to fit what a pain in the **** so $1880 all up for a Stainless Magnaflow 3.5"/4". If you are going to fit it yourself you WILL NEED a porterpower to fold the edge of the seam on the firewall over then you will have to cut the down pipe and remove 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch near the turbo and move the radius in closer to clear the firewall tack it and remove again to weld the rest is fairly straight foward. You could do it on the ground but a drive on hoist is much easier. I bought mine through Dennis at ITP.

All sorted on the A pillar pod thanx to Ratkat and supafspares.
bout to throw one in the back of the truck and ship it out to me
$125 + gst.

Might just pay the extra and have this guy fit the exhaust. He has done them b4 and Im time poor workn 6 days a week. Then the "War Office " and rugrats want the rest of my time.

Can I get sum suggestions on the instruments. I like the white faced look and was think bout EGT, Trans Temp and Turbo boost.

Be interested to c what me Bro's in the US have.
