97 F-150 running rich
This is a 97' F-150. Truck runs rough at idle. As I come to a stop the enginge goes to a low idle and then will shut down. Starting to get some blueish smoke at start up. Egg smell at exhaust. MAF was cleaned, new o2 sensors and the fuel rail diaphram does not shoot fuel while running. Any ideas?? Can the MAF be bad?

Blue smoke is burning oil, plugs might be fouled.
Egg smell could be a bad converter, excess oil can ruin a converter.
If the M.A.F. sensor is bad you should be able to disconnect it and the truck should run normally.
Low idle and stalling could be the I.A.C.
Fuel pressure regulator doesn't "shoot fuel"? If it's bed there will be fuel in the vacuum line that attaches to it.
When's the last time you replaced the plugs, f/filter a/filter etc?

I am very consistent with normal maintenance, filters were about 2 months ago plugs/wires have been 3 months now. O2 sensors were about the same time. Cleaned the throttle body 4 months ago. Could I have put the plug wires on wrong. ? I read in another forum that the cats are clogged. Will clogged cats cause all these symptoms?
