Upfitter no power
I tried to do the high idle on my 2005 F350 6.0 and could not get it to work for the life of me. I checked all the fuses swapped a few relays and even tried swapping the purple/light green wire for the orange wire and did not have any luck.
Decided to pull the fuse box just like it says in the tech write up. Thought I did not need to do that step since I could see (or thought I could see) all the wires. If you do not pull the fuse box out you may not be able to see the wires for the upfitter switches. It just so happens that there is a orange/light blue wire that is in the bundle of wires that you can see that does not go to the upfitter switches. If you do not have power coming from your switches than you may not have the right wires.
Thanks to everyone who writes tech articles and helps us newbies out. I thought I would pass on a little info to try and help those from making the same mistake. I saw in a few upfitter postings those that had the same problem. By the way the high idle works great now.

Also, I found the "Pass thru" wires that pass thru the firewall and exit in the engine compartment just above the brak master. I couldn't find a posting covering this, so I thought i'd add my two cents.

There are some photos of the wiring and location of the relays.
