burning oil

I have a 99 f-150 with a 5.4 engine. I replaced the valve cover gaskets. But still getting smoke (burning oil) from passenger side of engine. Any suggestions of what to look for?

You may have a bad head gasket. Some of the engines in these trucks when assembled had a problem with some contaminant on the head gasket that over time results in oil seepage at the back of the engine. If the engine is not using too much oil, you may just let it be. If the leak is bad, then the head will have to come off for the gasket replacement. Good luck!

Check you rubber grommets in your vale cover that your pcv goes to.
The ones on my truck had pretty much disintegrated and oil would leek out and drip on the header and smoke.
Just something else you can check. Might get lucky.
