Ok, back to the 390.... From what I'm gathering from Numberdummy's post, I can just keep my flywheel, that is unless it's thrashed, but I doubt that it is. I'm going to go with a 650 carb and probably just call comp cams and ask them what the best cam to run for my needs will be. Any suggestions on ignitions? Will the stock ignition system give me enough spark? A friend of my ran pertronix (spelling?) on his f100 that had a 360 in it. He said that really woke the engine up and made it run better. You guys have any experience with that set up? Again, thank all of you for the great input.

Well Mr. FTE sponsor guy....I took your advice and bought the D.U.I setup and the wires to go with it. I did some research and really liked what I saw. Tell your boss to give you a raise.
