Thedash bezel is hard to see... be prepared for that. The A pillar is the easiest to read at a glance, overhead is nice but will not work with your scan gauge... Underdash is a nice one too...

I too vote for the pillar, since they're so easy to see while driving.
Have you seen cartmanea's install? Another option and it looks really clean!
CLay juast installed the 4 hole "A" pillar pod in my truck. A DP Tuner control went in the bottom hole. It's nice having it right at the corner of your vision. You don't have to take your eyes off of the road to check your gauges or change your tune. ( my mom used to tell me to change my tune a lot.)
