New guy here
I just bought a 1979 F150 2wd long box the other day and found this site while looking for tech answers. I've spent a few hours here already searching the forums and have found some pretty good info.
The truck I bought has a 351M auto trans combo....not sure on trans, but probably an FMX or a C6 I would imagine.
I've been out of the hobby for about 5 years now. I drag raced a 1990 Mustang Notchback with a 347 C4 combo for around 6-7 years or so until other obligations got in the way and I sold everything except the tow vehicle which is a 2001 Excursion....I've owned that since 2002 and still like it alot.
I'm excited to get another vehicle to work on and make go fast.
I plan on building a windsor for this truck because I love what the aftermarket has out there for them.

I have owned a 79 Bronco in the past around 1993 or so and loved that truck. That also had the 351M in it. Very fun truck!!
I'm sure I'm gonna have some questions for you guys in the future.
