good, LOL The first few weeks my add a leaf was a little harsh but nothing bad at all. But back then i was doing ALOT of tank removal jobs towing our backhoe, hauling a dump trailer, getting fresh cut wood for the ol wood stove, i moved into my house so i was doing nursery stone and mulch etc so i worked the new spring in quickly. Now that ive had it i love it. I feel i know have the payload a F350 should have, no more squatting three or four inches from a load of mulch in my short bed etc

but don't forget Pro Comp doesn't make 5.4 lift springs, so technically i have the V10/diesel springs on my 5.4. They are holding up to my 5.4 like a steroid driven athlete but under the heavier V10/diesel motors who knows......

Sweet. It looks like I'll getting pro comp springs sometime then. I not liking my skyjackers like I used too... plus they have drooped quite a bit.

call customer service and complain, my dads 2.5" skyjackers lasted two years under that big boy 7.3. The place i bought them from told me to call CS and complain, i did and i had a new set sent to me but no new ubolts so we had to buy them. Now six years later they again are all frowny faced and look like crap, they ride like a board. So my dad asked me to install the pro comps this summer, BUT i might add one spring from the Skyjackey pack because that heavy $$$ 7.3 kills front leaf springs

you didnt like the pro comps ride? I actually like the way the V10/diesel springs ride with the 5.4 above them. I only have kyJacker nitro shocks but everything seems smooth and nice for a F350 that is

my cousin has a 2006 2500 crew cab short bed 2500HD with the dura trash motor. he runs them 2" pork chops with a set of 285/75r16 Michelin tires and bilstein shocks and his truck is WAY harsher than my F350 with diesel springs! The front bangs over bumps and the rear bounces over ever hole and divit in the road compared to my f350.... but mine is a FORD

yeah they sagged some, then when I put my brush guard on a couple years ago they dropped a little more. And it's just a cheap go rhino series guard, nothing big and heavy at all.... I lifted it up on the truck by myself and my brother bolted it on...

I've heard a lot of good things about the pro comps so it may just be time to upgrade.

... funny thing is, when you look at pics of my truck it looks pretty damn good, but standing next to it in person you can tell that the front end is lower than it was.

it was the stiffest thing i ever rode in (keep in mind these were the 4-leaf 4" lift springs that came in the kit, not the leveling springs). i never complained about them, after all it is a leaf-sprung TRUCK (not an IFS car suspension).. but after 5 years it just kinda wore on me. i tried the ES9000 nitrogen shocks, single bilstein, dual bilstein, then sold it with brand new dual ES9000's (i knew the looks would sell it lol), and every way it was a lumber wagon.

..but dang do i miss the height, lol.

i guess the arch of the spring makes it rough? because the 4" spring is the same lbs per inch as the 2" spring.

my stainless Westin is not heavy either, i carry it on and off all the time by myself. I cant see that making springs sag, i think its a Skyjacker thing personally......
