When did 351w have roller blocks?

When did 351w have roller blocks?
Would a 91 F350 or a 93 F250 have a 351w with a roller block? If not what vehicles and years had them?

Don't quote me on this but I am pretty sure that roller blocks started in 1994 for all 351s. BUT I am not totally for sure about '93. I am 99% sure that a stock 1991 351 is not a roller.

I am not for sure if this helped much but maybe somebody more knowledgeable will chime in and correct me if I am wrong.

It was the '94 production year which means you may find some in late '93, look for an F4TE casting number on the block.

Were the 351 blocks roller capable like the 302 blocks in the late 80s early 90s were?

No, only the late F4TE casting number mentioned by Conanski are not roller compatible.

Non Roller Compatible
Oops, thanks for correcting that typo. I had started out by writing that the blocks earlier than the F4TE casting were not roller compatible, then shortened it.

Well all this reinforcement will surely cement in everyone's brain that only the F4TE blocks are roller compatible. There, more reinforcement!
