Grinding Noise
A guy I work with has an 04 F-150 4x4 scab he says it makes a grinding type noise when he is on the gas and it goes away if he lets up on the go pedal,he says it sounds a bit like it does when the 4x4 is engaging, any thoughts?

Vacuum leak somewhere in the IWE vacuum system for the 4WD. When your on the gas or under load the vacuum drops. Read this write up......
