302 making bronco buck
i just bought a '86 ford bronco xlt with a fuel injected 302 with a c6 transmission. it idles and runs great when driving easy but if you crack the throttle past 3/4 it starts to act up then once its to the floor it bucks like there are a few cylinders missfiring making it buck pretty hard. im new to efi AND v8, 3 fords and they were all 6bangers. i about crapped my pants when i popped the hood once i seen all the clutter 
i dont think it'll be fun to work on but i'll get over it. anyone got any tips? im wondering if its possibly some bad plug wires or somethin..

a full tuneup wouldnt be a bad idea with some new plugs,wires, dist cap, dist rotor and a fuel filter and air filter and change the oil and filter to make sure its none of the basic stuff. also pull codes on it.

well the guy i bought it from said he gave it a tune up (plugs wires cap and rotor) 2 weeks ago but im not sure how much i trust a strangers work so when i get some time i'll go thru it all to double check. its got a prettty good valve cover leak but thank god its on the drivers side. the check engine light isnt on so is there any codes to read??

There isn't a check engine light on these truck. Just an emissions light that is supposedly supposed to come on every 70,000 miles or something. Go get the codes pulled. Or read up to pull them yourself. You can get them for under $30 at Autozone, I think. They won't pull codes on these vehicles for free there, like most vehicles. But, I got mine pulled because I had a friend that worked there. Brought up one code, the TPS, I changed that, and it's been great since. 15,000 miles and well over a year's time (of hell raising and working, lol).
