for reading out diagnostics? im sick of paying the dealer 140 bucks to plug in the computer to tell me what is wrong. ive seen alot of the little ones that plug in like a gauge but do they really do the job? or do you guys use something like the autoenginuity ford bundle pack from itp diesel? wife is on board for this one so i can get it soon, just need to know the best i can get for diagnosing what is wrong so i dont have to pay anymore. thanx
I started using an Edge programmer, and it will just pull codes, and clear them. Now Ive upgraded to the AE from ITP with ford bundle, it gives you alot more info. And is alot more usefull. You can look at individual sensors while driving and see what they say and such. If you have the money for AE definetely do it IMO
yeah, thats what i think il get then. you guys get the ford bundle kit for $341.00 or is there a bigger one to lok for? if all i have to pay is 341.00 then heck, im getting it this week.

The enhanced kit is all you need for your truck. The only upgrade from there is to buy enhanced kits that will cover Chevy or Dodge. Clay at Rifraff might be able to get you a better deal than Dennis. Don't know since he wasn't around when I bought mine.
