Good evening, new to you'r site, just purchased a 1977 F-250 4x2, manufactured 6/77, 400m motor, this truck was so perfect I couldn't pass it up, but I bought it to convert to a 4x4 chassis. Any ideas on which chassis I should look for? Highboy or newer 77.5-79 type. Frame rails are 34" wide at backend. THANKS FOR ANY ADVICE JEFF

Good evening ,thanks for the ? The measurement I got was from the man I got truck from, he told me he measured at the front of truck on frame centers, when I heard that I knew previous info. I posted was wrong, I will have correct measurement posted tomorrow, the truck is a '77 F-250 camper special 2 wheel drive that was built 6/77, it has both fuel tanks on pickup bed, not the one behind seat like early '77s, so I was assuming I would need a '77.5 -79 donor chassis. THANKS JEFF
